The A to Z of Tribe athletics A is for adventure games, one of the many kinesiology courses the College offers. The course includes climbing, rappelling, prussiking and aerobic games and emphasizes teamwork.
Tribe rebuilds after loss of five starters After a record-breaking season, the Tribe’s field hockey team returns in 2003 hoping to continue with the success of last year’s squad. Last year, the Tribe advanced to the CAA championship game for the first time in over a decade. However, the team will have to rebuild several of its positions owning to the loss of five seniors, all of whom were key starters.
Women's soccer prepares to take CAAs with strong returning roster After a CAA Championship 2-1 loss last year to James Madison University, Head Coach John Daly is back for his 17th year, ready to reclaim the title. After six championships in a row, the Tribe is geared up for the 2003 season and has the experienced players and fresh talent to back it up.
Men's soccer expected to take second at CAA Predicted to claim second place in the CAA, the men’s soccer squad looks to have a strong fall season. According to the 2003 CAA Men’s Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll, the Tribe’s main competition in the CAAs will be Virginia Commonwealth University and Old Dominion University.
