Minutemen ready for Tribe
A near-heroic fourth quarter comeback fell just short as the Tribe was defeated by 7th ranked University of Massachusetts 24-14 in their home opener, Oct. 11. The offense failed to put points on the board for the first three quarters of play and the defense desperately tried to keep the team afloat against the very strong running game of UMass.
