Students rally for education funding
Finding more funding for public education was the theme at a Newport News town meeting, attended by a group of representatives from the College.

The Wednesday night meeting was the first in a series of gatherings sponsored by the Alliance for Virginia Students that are scheduled to be held across the Commonwealth.

The sessions are open to discussion on funding issues for all education levels, kindergarten through graduate school.
