Students denied voter registration
Four students at the College have hit a roadblock in their bid for seats on the Williamsburg City Council. The Registrar’s Office has determined that at least two of the students do not meet minimum requirements to vote in the city, a prerequisite for running in the election. However, the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia has offered to defend the students, creating the possibility of a legal challenge in a Virginia court.
