'Laramie' dissects tragedy
William and Mary Second Season Theatre will close its 2003-2004 season this week with the controversial play "The Laramie Project.” Written by Moisés Kaufman and the Tectonic Theater Project, "The Laramie Project” chronicles life in the small Wyoming town of Laramie for the year following the brutal slaying of openly gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard in 1998.
