Tribe crushes VMI, again
The Tribe football team got their first win of the season last Saturday afternoon with a 41-7 blowout victory over Virginia Military Institute. The win was the 20th straight against their in-state rival.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Jake Phillips led the team to 469 total yards of offense in his first career start. He was efficient on the day, completing 17 of 21 passes for 202 yards, throwing for one touchdown and rushing for another. ...
