Zeidler, Braxton win council seats
MAY 2-- Junior David Sievers' run for Williamsburg City Council ended Tuesday. At 9:00 p.m., with all three voting precincts reporting, incumbent Mayor J.F. Zeidler and Robert Braxton led the field with 1,103 and 866 votes, respectively. Sievers and incumbent councilman Billy Scruggs trailed with 712 and 795 votes, respectively. The four candidates were running for two seats on the council.
