Compiled by Lindsay Moroney
Saturday
Excited to be back on campus? Come share your joy with fellow students at the Back to Classes Bash on Yates Field. The event features a giant banana split and the talents of alumni band The Argument. Beginning at 4 p.m., come take over the field and party.
Sunday
Take the time to enjoy your surroundings at night. Starting at 6:30 p.m., visit candlelit homes, trade shops and grand public buildings in the Colonial Village. Some historic sites are open every evening and are beautiful to see. Take advantage of the area's quiet nights.
Monday
Experience Tribe sports live tonight as the men's soccer team takes on Marist's Red Foxes from Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The game, this season's second, begins at 7 p.m. on Busch Field. Support the team and come out in green and gold.
Tuesday
A tour entitled "Rubbish, Treasures and Colonial Life: The Archaeology Labs" will run four times today. The tours are approximately 90 minutes long and begin at the Lumber House Ticket Office. Discover how artifacts are processed and interpreted in our area.
Wednesday
Through October 7, the Muscarelle Museum is proud to show off their "Solar Wall," the colored panels decorating the side of the building, by Gene Davis. The exhibition explains the origins of the designs. It will be held in the Herman Graphic Arts Study Room.
Thursday
The first Homebrew of the semester is tonight in Lodge 1. Sponsored by UCAB, this show is an opportunity to see the talents of your classmates. From mellow acoustic tunes to rowdy harmonica sing-alongs, this event promises to be entertaining.
Friday
Always a favorite is hypnotist Tom Deluca. He will perform his magic tonight at 8 p.m. in PBK Hall. He makes students do everything from ballet dancing to singing on stage, then makes them forget everything. Whether you believe it or not, the show is still entertaining.
Next Week
Jack Hanna brings his menagerie to campus Monday, September 10. Known for his exotic friends who chew on his hands, Hanna is a "Late Night with David Letterman" regular. He will be in PBK Hall at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by UCAB.
