Parking deck approved for Adair site
The College has approved plans for the construction of a parking deck that is expected to be completed by 2003. The deck will be built on the Adair Tennis Courts and is will provide an additional 500 spaces.

SSDP uses public smoke-out to build support, awareness
Students for a Sensible Drug Policy held a smoke-out in the Sunken Gardens last weekend in order to increase supports and awareness for its cause. The group wants many of the College's drug policies, especially those concerning marijuana, reconsidered.

Teach-in repeats Kissinger allegations
The Tidewater Action Group held a teach in Monday to protest the installation of Henry Kissinger as College chancellor. The group not only alleged that Kissinger is a war criminal, but also started a petition to remove him from his position.

Phi Beta Kappa celebrates 225th
Phi Beta Kappa will celebrate its 225th anniversary at the College, its founding institution. There will be numerous events held throughout the weekend celebrating the honor society.
