Student assaulted near Dillard Complex
An undergraduate male student was injured during an armed robbery near the Dillard Complex at approximately 1:45 a.m. Sunday. Local police released a composite sketch of the suspect as well as issed a warning to the community to remain cautious and aware.
College crew team practice turns stormy
The College's crew team put their safety training to use Wednesday night when a storm on the Chickahominy River capsized their boats during a practice. Linda Knight, director of Recreational Sports, said the story had a "happy ending," however, with all rowers being recovered and none suffering from hypothermia. All crew team members reacted in accordance with standard procedure and are thankful that the loss was not greater than it could have been.
