Jamestown Road attack thwarted
A female at the College was attacked at approximately 3:15 a.m. while walking from campus on Jamestown Road last Saturday. A passing motorist, saw the victim and her assailant struggling on the roadside.
Budget cuts to impair faculty, staff recruitment
Under the current budget freeze, the College may not be able to retain and recruit faculty competitively, due to a lack of salary increases, according to the Vice President of University Relations and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
Admissions office accepts fewer for 2006
By next week all applicants for the Class of 2006 will have been notified of their acceptance or denial of admission to the College. Currently, the class of 2006 consists of 459 students, out of 891 early decision applicants.
