Runners break record at CAA's
The men's cross country team won its second straight CAA Championship and set a new team scoring record at the same time. These accomplishments give the Tribe a positive outlook for the nearing regional competitions.

Women's soccer ends losing streak
W&M women's soccer was able to break their losing streak during overtime in a game with Virginia Commonwealth University last week. The win inspired the team too look for ways to improve even more.


Men take shutout, win
Men's soccer ended their home season with two wins, over George Mason University and the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. The home field advantage meant something to the Tribe players, as they beat GMU 2-1 and UNC-W 3-0.

Football upsets Maine 42-20
The W&M Tribe defeated the University of Maine's Black Bears 42-20 at last weekend's Homecoming game. Despite close statistics, the Tribe was successful in upsetting 18th-ranked Maine.

Field Hockey falls to UNC-CH
The Tribe women's field hockey returns from a loss away against the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill to defeat Northeastern University.

Volleyball drops CAA match
The volleyball dropped a CAA match against George Mason University, the first conference loss for the Tribe team this season. Despite the loss Friday, the team rebounded Saturday with a 3-0 win over James Madison University .

Golf finishes in 10th place
The men's golf team took 10th place at the 22nd Seascape Collegiate last weekend. The men were led by junior Justin Ragognetti.

Women runners finish second in CAA's
The women's cross country team took second place in last weekend's CAA championships, held in Williamsburg. The top finisher for the Tribe was junior Cheryl Bauer, who took third place overall.
