Shelia Sheppard, Christopher Clawson, Tamara Rivera and Sarah Wyatt were elected to the respective positions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer for the Class of 2006.

Potassium iodide pills distributed as radioactive precaution
All citizens living within 10 miles of either of Virginia's two operational nuclear power plants are eligible to receive a dose of potassium iodide in the event of a discharge of radiation from the plants, in accordance with a precautionary measure being taken by the Virginia Department of Health.

Violence outbreak leaves one dead
Five shootings occurred in the Williamsburg area Sept. 23 in the early morning, resulting in the death of one of the victims. Another individual was wounded in these attacks.
